i think that American English can be in many ways easier to understand. this is why i actually prefer it on British english. However, though British english can sometimes be hard to understand as there are many accents and dilects to it, its better when it comes to writting, at least this is what i think|y
I speak absolute American accent....... ask me why? i truelly don't know i just grabed it easilly since little.... besides that being in the United States forces my English to sound American.
Hei guys, what makes you think that American accent is much easier than the British?!!!! i don't think so.....
American English has many different kinds of accents exactly like the British, which makes the Americans them selves unable to understand each other if from different states........ besides which, they use a lot of idioms and slung language that makes it so hard to really know what they are saying sometimes.... something that you have to be really careful about on certain situations.
Generally, i prefer the American accent better......... 'cause frankly am so not into the way the british speak from their noses.... except for some of their accents.
Fascinated question, after I read it, straightaway two aspects came in mind$$-e listening to an accent, or speaking with an accent.$$-e
To fake an accent whether British or American just to show off,
something I always "disLike" and make me sick. It's like when I'm faking an Egyptian accent.
If you ask me, I like to listen to the northen British accent form eg. leads, Newcastle, Sunderland, and Scottish accent for a challenge.
