What exactly is a ghost and are there different types? Do ghosts even exist at all?

Probably the most popular theory is that ghosts are the spirits of our departed loved ones, who remain on the earth plane for various reasons rather than progressing to the next world. Often this is because they wish to stay close to their loved ones, or because their loved ones can't let them go - either way they cannot move on and are unable to leave the earth plane.

who does believe in Ghosts and why?

interesting issue dear brother, makes you give the wonders of this life a deep thought. i find the definition you've enclosed quite what Ghosts are about. as the definition seems to reflect what most poeple think ghosts are, or lets say how those who believe in the existence of ghosts define them. i personnaly dont believe in their existence, due to some obvious facts. Most important of all is that our great religion tells us what actually happens to human soles or spirits after their death. which by all means is that they return to the almighty creator, god. This implies a total contridiction to the thoery of ghosts, doesnt it. However, we do believe in the existence of other unseen creatures made by god who lives on this planet, just like us. As for ghosts, I regard them to be some sort of human suppositious. Even those who believe in their existence lack the scientific evidence to support that|y.

That's right....but is there any difference between Ghosts and genies

Ofcourse brother, there is a great difference between the two. I hope that we agreed on the fact that we as muslims dont believe in ghosts. if so, there is not much left to argue about. As we on the other hand believe in the existence of genies. these creatures are known to us, as unseen creatures that live on this planet the same as we do. God has created both humans and gennies (never mind the spealling), to fulfill one thing above all. that is to worship him and obey his commands. So, in conclusion, we do actually believe in the existence of gennies and discard the |aidea of Ghosts. This is where the great difference is found

Sure there is!!! I guess we have no choice rather than to believe in the existence of this one, do we|a! However, this should be fine so long it stays in the Saha:D. My regards to the Ghost, by the way where is the Ghost these days. There was no sign of him around here|y recently|e
