The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), the corporate body regulating the telecommunications market in the sultanate of Oman is seeking to recruit ambitious Omani nationals for the posts mentioned below. It is TRA policy to provide attractive packages to its employees including targeted development to keep abreast with rapid changes in the sector.

Bachelor in Computer Engineering/Science > 1 - 5 years of relevant experience.
a) Specific Job Skills:
· Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English & Arabic.
· Pleasant disposition.
· Able to deal with people with different cultural and ethnic background.
· Able to plan and coordinate activities
b) Computer Skills:
Proficiency and practical ability in MS office.
Skill Set : The position holder is responsible to administrate the system, including the network (server – to – client) infrastructure, deployed in Spectrum Management Unit. His/her main tasks are:
· Maintain a continuous smooth workflow in Spectrum management Unit computer network (Server – client) environment.
· Do all backup procedures for database and soft files backup in a routine manner.
· Test all backup media for healthy and accurate information / data (after backup).
· Maintain continuous checking procedures on the security level for server and all clients connected.
· Maintain continuous checking procedures on the security logs / malicious intrusions for existing network elements such as firewalls, routers, switches, etc.
· Maintain the adherence of all administrative regulations on the technical usage of all Spectrum Management Unit assets according to existing TRA/ SMU procedures and regulations.
· Periodically does all necessary updates for Windows OS, Firewall components, Antivirus applications, or any other elements to be updated.
· Give all technical support for all clients in terms of troubleshooting IT related problems.
· Able to communicate with IT market to find appropriate IT solutions / upgrades.
· Able to do all technical analysis for different IT solutions to reach a comprehensive comparison between all offers.
· Able to handle unexpected database recovery/troubleshooting 24/7.
· Able to handle web applications solutions for basic modifications / upgrade.
· Has a broad view of latest – up-to-date online solution and their implementation in Telecom environment.

Designation : Specialist – Contracts & Projects
Job Code : No Code Qualification : Masters in Finance/Accounting or Bachelor in Finance/Accounting with 3-5 years of experience in Contracts Administration.
a) Specific Job Skills:
Good knowledge of accounts and financial statements.
Good knowledge of contracts & procurement methods & documentation.
Excellent presentation & interpersonal skills
Good team working skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English & Arabic.
b) Computer Skills:
Proficiency and practical ability in MS office especially in Ms. Excel.
Skill Set : The position holder will report directly to the Financial Affairs manager. She/he will be mainly responsible for managing all contracts in TRA in addition to providing support in the other financial matters. .His/her main tasks are:
Preparing and updating performance status reports of all Tenders and Contracts.
Tracking and maintaining all Tenders/ Contracts/ Bills/ Correspondences.
Tracking and maintaining list of all bonds like Tender Bonds, Performance Bonds, Advance Bonds, Professional Indemnities, etc. for all contracts.
Responsible for the filing system of all transactions and their related supporting documents.
Assisting the Finance Department in various activities such as correspondence, minutes of the meeting, reports etc.
Preparing the required daily transactions/payments with regards to contracts.
Preparing monthly financial reports, analyses and reconciliations
Tracking all Invoices & Purchase Orders.
Preparation of Weekly highlights.
Coordination with other departments for required details, documents and information.
Administrating internal Contracts procedures and monitor the adherence
