" oman was one of the famous trading countries in the past. That was for several different reasons such as: it's strategic location and it's relationship with other countries from different continents. Oman is boarding the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean which makes it an ideal and convienent base to reach the other middles eastern countries, India, and the east part of Asia. Oman had a great relationship with these contries so it used to exchange different materials and goods with them by crossing seas and oceans. It exported different types of materials for instance, frankincens, dried fish, cloths and some animals. On the other hand it imported spices, woods and some other goods. In addition, oman got this chance to spread out the Islam in these countries and as a result made strong relationship with them. the effort that oman made in the past can still be seen in some contries."
