      Essential Job Duties:This position will be a seconded role to a new team being formed within the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). ADNOC has asked Oxy to assist by providing key personnel to work in an integrated team to ensure the timely development of an integrated gas master plan for the country. This position would be filled as an Oxy employee seconded into ADNOC’s office in Abu Dhabi. This position will report to the Gas Assessment Team Lead, which will be filled by an Oxy employee. The term of the secondment is expected to between one and two years, but may be extended depending on the final scope of the project. This is a high profile project to both Abu Dhabi and to Oxy furthering our ongoing relationship with the Emirate.
      The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for supporting all project facilities engineering and detailed design analysis for the gas project evaluation. This individual must maintain a liaison with all team disciplines to identify all interfaces and develop solutions to problems to ensure work flows with a minimum of disruptions to schedule and/or activities during the evaluation of identified facilities projects. Coordinate interactions between engineering and management to ensure queries are addressed efficiently and timely. Responsible for ensuring that all design work is carried out in accordance with complete project ********ation. Interface with suppliers and/or vendors to provide clarification on technical issues in line with the project requirements. Responsible for ensuring that capital, operating and engineering costs are optimized. Provide technical input and prepare technical recommendations for future projects and programs. Work to ensure that Process Risk Management Procedures are introduced and that all work is carried out in accordance the procedure requirements.


      Required Qualifications:1. Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 15 years of relevant facilities engineering experience within the oil industry..
      2. Ten years of relevant experience in multi-discipline oil and gas development projects.
      3. Must have capability to develop strong working relationships with operating companies, government agencies and outside engineering and construction design firms.
      4. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
      5. Excellent organizational skills.
      6. Ability to interact effectively with cross functional team members (subsurface engineers and geoscientists, operations and drilling engineers)
      7. High proficiency in required facilities engineering technical packages, such as Questor, Hysys, Pipesim, or other industry *****alent software programs/packages.
      8. Possess business acumen skills.
      9. Must be capable of handling one or more complex assignments requiring a high level of technical skills


      Additional Desired Qualifications:1. Prior experience with major project design and performance evaluation
      2. Broad familiarity with field operations covering gas processing

      The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced reservoir engineering support for the evaluation of gas development opportunities. This will include reservoir analysis, studies, and performance evaluations focusing on efforts to evaluate and then optimize recovery from existing known reservoir systems. Must be capable of working within cross functional teams, sharing ***t practices knowledge for reservoir engineering practices. Broad knowledge in various gas recovery applications, providing field and reservoir analyses utilizing classical reservoir techniques. Be capable of providing experience in all areas of reservoir engineering, reservoir modeling and performance predictions for a very diverse project base. Must work closely with geological, production, facilities and drilling staffs to evaluate and plan large scale development programs. Have capability of mentoring to a multi discipline and multi-cultural team.


      Required Qualifications:
      1. BS degree in Engineering (or *****alent) with 15 years of Reservoir Engineering experience within the oil industry
      2. Experienced in performance analysis of various gas development operations
      3. Ability to conduct reservoir performance predictions applying pressure transient, geologic modeling, fluid flow properties determination and numerical simulation analysis
      4. Familiarity with advanced methods of static and dynamic reservoir characterization for gas reservoir operations
      5. Demonstrated ability to design programs for gas development
      6. Ability to interact effectively with cross functional team members (geoscientists, operations, drilling and facilities engineers)
      7. Proficiency in performing economic evaluations of projects including risk analysis
      8. Windows proficiency
      9. Good communication skills (written and oral)
      10. Possess business acumen skills
