Sultan Qaboos University announces the SALE OF USED
EQUIPMENTS, on-is-where-is basis, Through a public auction to be held on Monday Dated 14th June 2010 at the University, student Sports complex Hall. Interested parties can view the items on 12 and 13/6/2010 between 08:00 am and 11:00 am at the above location.
Term and Conditions:-
1. Participants shall be required to deposit an advance sum of RO 100/- at the finance department during the viewing days before the auction takes place. This amount will be refunded to the unsuccessful bidders.
2. The successful bidder shall be required to pay the remaining sum, if any, in cash and the auction price shall be obligatory on the part of the successful bidder.
3. Sultan Qaboos University will not be held responsible for loading, transport, loss or damage of the items after the auction. A penalty of RO.10/- per day will be charged to the successful bidder, if he fails to remove the selected items on or before 16th June 2010.
4. The successful bidder shall be required to pay a brokerage fee of 5% of the auction value.
5. Any bidder who fails to comply with the items 2, 3 and 4 above, will forfeit both the deposit and the items purchased.
Note: All bidders shall enter the University through Gate No. 2
