A businessman was driving his new Jaguar car, in one of the streets
when all of a sudden a rock hit his car. He stopped and jumped out of his car to see the damage.
A stone has hit his car and did a small damage on the side. Looking at the direction from where it came from, he saw a small boy standing on a corner of the street, the boy looked sad and scared.
The businessman apporoched the boy and grabbed him and started shouting at him; "Do you know what you have done? This is going to cost you and your dad. What were you thinking?"
The small boy started to cry and said " I am so sorry Sir, for a long time I was trying to get someone's attention to come and help me but in vain. He pointed to another small boy laying on the floor, the other boy looked hurt and was in pain. "That is my brother, he is handicapped, he was in his wheel-chair and fell down, I could not help him back on the chair although I tried hard".
"That's why i stood here and was trying to get someone from any passing cars to notice us and help us but no one stopped. So I had to use the stone to get someone to stop".
The man was shocked and felt sorry, he went over and helped the small boy on the floor and wiped off the blood on his wounds from the fall.
The Businessman never fixed his car, he kept the dent on his car to remind him that it should not take a stone to make him pay more attention to others.
Moral of the story:
We have been living in this world so occupied with it's leisures, we are always looking for more money, cars, houses etc. But we forget Allah.
That's why Allah gives us sometimes, pain, sorrows and loss, to remind us.
What is the point of gaining all the things in life and loosing your connection to Allah?
You have insured your car, your house, your life, but Have you insured your Akhira?
Or will it take you a STONE
