There are many changes in this century, especially how people dresses now days. Dressing-code verify by the purpose of the event. Wearing the right cloths on the right time gives an idea to the people around you what kind of person you are.
Everyone has a style, whether they think they do or not. Everyone is judged by what they wear, whether they think they are or not. Your clothing is a reflection of you in one way or another... but that doesn't mean that it necessarily reflects your personality. Many people wear certain clothing styles to try and fit in, others to impress, and some just wear the clothes they have. One of the very first impressions anyone gets from another person is what type of clothing or shoes they are wearing.
How much money you have available to spend on fashion can also have an influence on what you end up buying to put on. Wearing a designer shirt or dress only reflects how much money you had at your disposal to spend when you purchased the items. It doesn't necessarily show your personality.
People have always used color to express themselves both with their household furnishings, cars and clothing. We can quickly establish whether a person is bright and cheerful or sad and depressed from the colors that they choose to put on, but that is not always right.
We can also spot whether a person belongs to a particular affiliation that is well known from what they wear. Goths, mods, rockers, punks, wiccans, hippies and pagans are all reasonably easy to pick out from a crowd because of the way that they dress.
However, I don't advise you to wear something to show what kind of characters you have. You need to wear whatever you like, and forget about whether it shows your characters or not. Also, don't care if it shows who you are. No matter who you are, you are just great as what you are. No matter if you are a daughter or a son, or a father or a mother, etc, you are just great. Wear what you like, and like what you wear.
Nevertheless, we know that what we wear do reflect what we are. Blue, yellow, brown, white, colorful, dark, grey, etc, no matter what color our clothes are, and no matter what style our clothes are, and no matter what kind of decorations you wear, you shows your character, and you are, also, great.
