We are in a time of globalization which means that we have to integrate with other cultures which might affect the way that we live by or even the language that we use daily. Arabic as a first language and English as a second language. I believe that we as Muslims should be holding such statement because of many reasons that I am going to mention here, but before we start talking about the reasons, we should ask ourselves why should we learn English and why should we learn Arabic and which one is the most important for us as Muslims who have their own beliefs and tradition. Some of the reasons are the following:
1-Arabic is a Quranic language which means that the source of Arabic is the Holy Quran which is the guidance that we as Muslims depend on. Imagine that A Muslim cannot read Arabic, how could he know the instructions of Islam and the rules that we get from our source.
2-Language has a strong relation with dignity and identity. If we lose our language that means we lose our dignity and identity too. We as Muslims should be proud of our language.

One thing to add here, personally, I am not against learning English. ^ _ ^ In fact, I am an English student. The case here is case of priorities and case which come at first in our live Arabic or English.
Honestly, I was shocked when I heard from one of my friends that there are some Omani students studying in schools and they do not know Arabic!!!!!!!!
