الطريقة:

* عرض رقم الإصدار:

$ uname -a
SunOS openindiana 5.11 oi_147 i86pc i386 i86pc Solaris
ثم:

$ cat /etc/release OpenIndiana Development oi_147 X86 Copyright 2010 Oracle and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved. Use is subject to license terms. Assembled 14 September 2010

* التأكد من المستودع الإفتراضي

$ pfexec pkg publisherPUBLISHER TYPE STATUS URIopenindiana.org (preferred) origin online pkg.openindiana.org/dev/opensolaris.org origin online pkg.openindiana.org/legacy/


و إلا وجب تنفيذ:

$ sudo pfexec pkg set-publisher -O pkg.openindiana.org/dev/ openindiana.org

* بعدها نقوم بترقية مدير الحزم أولا:

$ sudo pfexec pkg install pkg:/package/pkg

* ثم جرد عدد التحديثات:

$ sudo pfexec pkg image-update -n Packages to remove: 87 Packages to install: 78 Packages to update: 773 Create boot environment: Yes

* ثم ترقية النظام:

$ sudo pfexec pkg image-update --be-name OI_r151a Packages to remove: 87 Packages to install: 78 Packages to update: 773 Create boot environment: YesDOWNLOAD PKGS FILES XFER (MB)Completed 938/938 26165/26165 473.2/473.2PHASE ACTIONSRemoval Phase 17379/17379 Install Phase 14948/14948 Update Phase 32919/32919 PHASE ITEMSPackage State Update Phase 1711/1711 Package Cache Update Phase 860/860 Image State Update Phase 2/2 A clone of openindiana exists and has been updated and activated.On the next boot the Boot Environment OI_r151a will be mounted on '/'.Reboot when ready to switch to this updated BE.---------------------------------------------------------------------------NOTE: Please review release notes posted at:docs.sun.com/doc/821-1479-----…-------------------------

* بعد إعادة تشغيل النظام سنتأكد مجددا من رقم الإصدار.

$ uname -aSunOS openindiana 5.11 oi_151a i86pc i386 i86pc Solaris

$ cat /etc/release OpenIndiana Development oi_151a X86 Copyright 2010 Oracle and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved. Use is subject to license terms. Assembled 01 September 2011

* بعد التأكد من عمل كل شيء يمكن التخلص من بيئة الإقلاع على الإصدار السابق.

$ beadm listBE Active Mountpoint Space Policy Createdopenindiana R - 28.6M static 2010-12-13 19:59oi_151a N / 6.17G static 2011-10-06 15:16


$ sudo beadm destroy 'openindiana'Are you sure you want to destroy openindiana?This action cannot be undone (y/[n]): yDestroyed successfully
