Benefits of Driving a 2012 BMW 7 Series Sedan
The 7-Series is BMW's technology flagship, and by most measures it's the most luxurious model in the German automaker's lineup. And with a wide range of powertrain possibilities, along with standard and long-wheelbase versions-including greener ActiveHybrid and high-performance Alpina models. Even at its simplest, the 740i is one of the most athletic-feeling large sport sedans, while well-optioned 750 and 760 models offer some of the world's leading convenience and accident-avoidance technology.
What's new for 2012?
The entire BMW 7-Series lineup of sedans carries into 2012 with no significant changes. Last year, BMW's xDrive all-wheel drive system was offered for the first time in the 7-Series, on the 750i and 750Li models, and 6-cylinder engines came back to the 7-Series in the new 740i and 740iL. 2012 also marked the comeback of the high-performance Alpina B7.
