This miracle was witnessed by brother Salim while he was performing Umra during Ramadan, the year 1424.
It happened while Salim was doing voluntary tawaf (walking around the Kaba). He was making supplication when all of a sudden he heard a loud crying sound which got louder and louder. More and more people began to make a noise and Salim overheard a lot of words of thanks to Allah and words of appreciation for his mercy. He then saw a lot of people rushing towards a man and his wife. Some were asking them questions, some were congratulating them, some were shaking, and others had faces of astonishment after they had discovered what had happened…
Salim was curious as to the source of the noise so he followed the sound. Maybe someone needed help, he thought to himself. Maybe there was good news. Would he be one of the first to hear it?
Then brother Salim came forward and approached the brother of a 30 year old Tunisian sister. She was very happy, full of appreciation for Allah’s blessing. She had come to perform Umra with her brother and other members of the family when something amazing happened.
Salim asked the brother, “Why all this happiness? What has caused all this sudden joy? Why can I see so much excitement in your expression?”. The Tunisian brother said “My sister was born 30 years ago and never saw the light or the darkness because she was blind. She prayed sincerely from the bottom of her heart and asked Allah to be allowed to see his House, the Kaba. She was so insistent on asking for this, that Allah answered her prayers and as you can see my sister is no longer blind and can see with the mercy of Allah’s light. All our thanks are to Allah”.
Salim could not resist but to hug the Tunisian brother to congratulate him. He shed tears of happiness.
He who loves Allah knows that Allah is capable of anything that He can answer your prayers because He is the Creator, the Greatest and the Most Generous. All our thanks are to Allah for his Bounty.
