if you are an english teacher

    • if you are an english teacher

i think the English teacher is the only person who hates his life that is because he/she will be a target for many things
      - the failure of his/her students
      -the school activities
      - the heavy timetables
sometimes if the parents has no one to blame they will go to the English teacher and i hope that someone really cares about those poor people whom we call English teachers
    • First of all i would like to welcome you aboard dear sister|a Its a real pleasure to have around with us
      ;)

As for your interesting post, i would say that its a great potential for discussion and as such (hoping that you dont mind) am taking it to the discussion room

The issue of English teachers and the sort of problems they face at school during their teaching period is that of great importance. I think that it is in the interest of all parties that such problems are solved and a middle line is somehow established so that everyone is satisfied

i believe that there are two sides to every coin! Here, naturally we have the teachers on one side and the students on the other

There are many real problems in schools. Teachers talk about having demanding timetables, few resources, unrealistic targets, disruptive pupils and excessive paperwork. - For all these reasons and others i have great admiration for teachers - and truly believe that they deserve better treatment. As all these things contribute individually into how teachers 'teach' . It is therefore essential to actually appreciate teachers in order for them to give their best without limits in return

Students on the other hand, view things from a different angle! It is more than fair to say that its not a general case, but there are students who suffer from having terrible teachers. However, rare this might be, it is actually a problem. Teachers are dictated not just what to teach, but also how to teach - and an increasing emphasis on accountability suggests a lack of trust in the ability of teachers to carry out what is expected of them

So far all what i did was stating parts of problems within the issue from both sides(from my point of view)! which i hope everyone else would help in clarifying, so that a better image is founded of the whole situation

Solutions, i believe, are required and need to be discussed. I should be back with some soon, but let us hear what the rest of you have to say about all this
      ;) ;)

    • Welcome with us dear sister and thanks for sharing us this topic.

Well I guess not only English teachers who suffered but even other teachers of other subjects especially math.
Teaching in general is a great job and it has many sacrifices. The teacher does his or her best to explain the lesson easily in order that the students will be able to understand it. The teacher can avoid the problems they may face him/her in the class with the lowest students. He or she has to find away to let the lessons interesting and encourage students to love it instead of liking it. For example, my young sister hates English subject last years and she was really facing a real problem with it because she has the lowest mark in English while she is doing well in other subjects. However, this year she has a different attitude towards English and she loves it and gets a high mark in her exam. What do you think the reason? Well, her teacher was the reason because she manages to teach English in a lovely way that lets all the students love English. So, I believe that it depends a lot in the teacher's way in teaching and he/she has to be patient because this job is not so easy..

My all respect and regards to all those great teachers who are trying all their best in teaching.
    • Well, you are right....English teachers bear all of that. we should raise a complaint to the government asking them for more mony and less hrs....
But I'm still proud of English Teachers and all teachers ..They really have a tough job and a big responsibilty..MY advice to you, love your job and you won't things about all of those other things...you have a great responsibity and we all trust you...parents put their presious children on your hands and they pray to allah to protect them and their teachers....
    • Is it Only the matter of English teachers?

      helloo everybody:
thank you dear sisters for this interesting subject.

but i wana ask you a QUESTION....

Is this problem faced only by the english teachers??

what about the MATHS teachers, ARABIC teachers and the other teachers??? ... i think they are in the same situation.... pupils fail in their classes too..... students sometimes do not understand them when they are giving the lessons....

TEACHERS SHOULD HAVE A WAY WITH THEIR STUDENTS....FAMILIES SHOULD HAVE GOOD RELATIONS WITH THE SCHOOL....GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY

      thank you all
