      Baisically, you emotions occur to how your mind interprets things.. and that on it's own is dependent on many factors.

      By the way student, I think that the mind according to your interpretation is not right every time. Sometimes we those emotions are right and gives us a hunch whether what we are doing is right or wrong.. many of us would say oh no we use our heads when we make the decision, but pretty much we are also feeling if our decision is a good one or not.. both has to work together in everything

      sometimes you also need to bend the rules, you know no one would do it, but circumstances do force the person to bend the rules and act odd and different to the way everyone is used to.. as endurance mentioned, it's conciousness, and also faith in God.. most of the people would think of what they want and thats their right of course, but also maybe he's right is to give a hand. One would say, im not giving up my life for such person, but as endurance said as well, put yourself in others shoes and try to see it from that point of view, being the victim or someone related to the victim

      I strongly disagree with with seperating the emotions and mind, because everything comes from the mind anyway, emotions are generated in the mind and sent to God knows where, the nerves system I think

      When somes comes to a situation to make a decision, he has to think about himself because it's his right, but we should also not ignore the fact that you've got the choice to change, if it is the society then they will talk today and will shut up late on.. thats how life goes on

      As I said I liked what dear student brought up, and I wonder if this would give more guidlines to restrict our discussion


      Our emotions provide the force to motivate us and to help us survive in the physical world


      Mentality provides us with the template of our perfected spiritual existence
