where is love

      Hi ladies and gentlemen ,

      All human beings have feelings. They can be happy or sad, they can love or hate. As most people know that human brain has been divided to parts that are responsible for certain missions. For example, the left side of brain is responsible for language, arts music ..etc and the right side is responsible for mathematic and scientific issue. In addition, the right part of the brain controls the left parts of the human body and the left side of the brain does the opposite. When there is damaged in the right side of course some parts in the lift side of the body will not work.

      This is what Great ALLAH has made men.

      My question is ,
      Where is love located in the brain or the heat?? a
      If it is in the brain, why do most people mention heart when they talk about love?a

      If it is in the heart, where in the heart? Heart is just a muscle that pushes blood but brain is different!!! a


      If the answer is difficult try to read about brain but plz read English sources

      Sure it is known to be something with the heart, and sure it is proven now that heart is just a pump, and sure it is something to do with the brain that controls everything including the heart, anyway, and after all love is just a state of mind, and body just like anyother state
      Fear, joy, sorrow are much the same, hit the brain that start to get the body ready for action and this just require more blood that carry oxygen and nutrition for the cells to work in an effective way
      It, the brain, gives the command to hormones to flow, just as the Adrenalin when in fear. The heart pumps more and more blood to the area calling for it just as the face does when one is blushed or the gentials when aroused
      Love is always there, but I believe it is the arousal state of mind when we think about it, about love

      We love our mothers, our hears do not get jumpy...I guess you got my point

      I guess if love was there, in the heart or brain, it will never die, but our feelings die as time passes by, it is all about excitment, that we love , and as I said "excitment we love" so the word love here means nothing to me at least as there is no excitment or sexual arousal

      I thinks we should stop kidding ourselves about this love stuff

      OK, yes love is sex, plainly I put it

      I am totally agree with Tenderness, the brain get actives during love and brain cells need more blood when they work and less when they're inactive. So well as we get in any happy state the brine will send signal to heart to pump more blood and when get in sad motion lees blood will be required for the brain and that will effect in our feeling as being sad..that's what came to me thinking. However how we involve hearts on all our love story because we can not control love motion and there are only few who can control it and they are lucky. Also most the great poem talks about love, it mention heart has to do with love because if your heart is alive you can love you can do every thing but if dead then your dead human not as brain. You will see a lots of people who are nuts (God help them) but still they love. Nonetheless I have not come across people who has dead heart and they still loving. So from this phenomenon people relate the love to heart.
      It is an interesting topic, I would like to write more but I have not got time but promise when got time I'll pope in. Take care

      First of all thank you both YSK_loland Tenderness
      I wrote this topic coz last year my partner was doing a presentation about heart and one of the lady asked him “ where is love in the heart, so he got stuck and said “ I don’t know but it is there” .

      Actually, as tenderness and YSK_lol said there is a strong connection between heart and brain.
      She said “I guess if love was there, in the heart or brain, it will never die, but our feelings die as time passes by, it is all about excitement, that we love , and as I said "excitement we love"

      That means there is no love without excitement. So we stop loving something because the excitement of something is gone, isn’t?
      as a result, when we want to stop loving something we have to extinct the excitement toward what attracts our feelings.

      The problem is that I am trying to understand the word “ love” coz most members are taking about this lexicon which makes me sick. I present this topic to make the one who falls in love to write rational description of the term love.

      according to tenderness we don’t control love but we control excitement, “excitement we love”
      excitement comes before love , so if you want to control love you have to control excitement

      I was told that excitement is just I chemical secretion that comes in one moment and goes in the next moment but it may stay for long time but “but our feelings die as time passes by,”

    • Hey ALBARON, I dont know how to start this reply but I dont agree with everything YSK_lol and Tenderness said. Physically, love is a feeling that has signals sent from the brain to our body parts which is the heart here to react towards this feeling. So yeah it comes from the brain.

      I think they associated love with heart because everytime you get hurt or fall in love with someone, you will eventually put your hand on your heart. Poets are not doctors but any pain or good moments is felt by the heart but produced by the brain.

      what is love? No one until this day could give a good description of it, you expect us to do so? No, it's still a mystrious feeling that God has created in us. We do know and can control and it's all mentioned there in the Holy Qura'an. Avoid the causes, you wont see the consequences!!!i

      Love is associated with excitement, we control this excitement by our brain, we are convincing ourselves whether the thing is exciting us or whether we still want to be excited. Feelings dont die, but they are not forced to appear because the person may has got used to it. For example, seeing a candy excited us when we were kids, but it doesnt excite us that much when we are getting older because we got used to it, we know how it tastes and we know how it feels. The feeling stays there when you come to the stage of obsession, I think. As long as there is something that keeps you attracted to something/one then it keeps those feelings and then I call it obsession. It may not be obsession also, it could be getting used to love the person and so not loving him/her is something unusual and so you cant stop yourself from loving someone no matter how bad they are with you.

      Ask a mother who was left behind and her kids forgot about her how she still loves them. That's the greatest love on earth after the love of God to his people.

      I read your words, ideas and thought. I could see you were looking for a specific word and I coud feel it....you were looking for the word "desire" . I am waiting to hear more from others, and hope we reach to something, hoping to hear pesonal opinions and not what others have said, we had enough blabbing and it is time we speak up
