      I remember this question which was asked by the Dr in the class “ whom do u prefer to marry a “ saknee or saknee tegaree wife”. A housewife or a worker?

      This question makes me angry because he used UNWELCOMED expression about wife “ saknee or saknee tegaree wife”. See how educated men look to women. They belittle the most important part in the society “ women”. Why is that? Arn't we the same? a

      Anyway this is not my topic. My topic is the answer of the teacher’s question
      Whom do u prefer to get marry a housewife or worker? What are the sequences of both of them?.
      Before you answer please think of the future.

      Before answering your question I would like to see you participate in ONE
      topic at a time, please, and do not list another before the present one has its share and right of discussion. To be honest with you, and by you doing that I does not give time and concentration to share you as I belive that the most important for me is what I say and not how much I do



      Well, I would go for the housewife, a woman that has a jobtitle as a housewife, taking care of her house and family. This is when talking about a wife, let me now talk about a sister or daughter, I would make sure they have enough learning and knowledge, reaching them to the best standard of education, and getting them ready to be housewives capable to manage their homes and would be able to fight and work if the need arises
      And I wish my wife to be one lke my sister or daughter

    • [B]Waaaaaaaw what u wrote is interesting but most ladies do not agree with u coz they say how come we study for years then stay at home. It is not fear coz when we do not practice what we study at school or college we will forget everything so it is useless to study.
      From another point of view ladies may say that we should ensure our future by having job and getting to feed our children when something bad happens to me.

      Another perspective they may say that we should help husbands to provide life needs. So participation and cooperation is very important in marriage relations .

      So do Mr. tenderness agree with these perspective?       [/B]

      Well, No is not useless to study, and as I said and as you mentioned the woman has the right to go to school and higher education, no one denies that
      When a woman says or finds herself in a position needing her to go out and find a job to support her family then comes the necessity of her education

      When the man needs his wife working then what can I say, it is all up to them. There are tons of men running after a working woman, but I am not one of them and again it is all up to them

      NOW, if women or men think that a woman educates herself for the sake of finding a job then I am saying it loudly, they are wrong and stupid

      I would not go for an ignorant woman, ignorant woman has never had a home as it shold be though we tend to deny and override this. When I say ignorant I do not mean those who had never attended schools, but those who had never learnt from life and all those around ... sure there are ignorant people with high academic qualifications

      I would go for the educated woman as her education and knowledga would give confidence as a man
      Think about it

      As I said once, our gilrs should know that freedom, can be practised anywhere and work is not the only way. Have confidence, and you will be free
      Think about it

      I'll say my opinion if I was a man!! I wouldn't take a woman who works neither a woman who is just sitting at home.. I'd prefer something in between.. Welcome to the new world!!! Have you heard about women who work from home? That's a job too

      Working women dont have to be those who are working outside, in ministries and companies and so on and If a woman/girl had to work, I'd prefer singles to do that job. However, I notice that if the woman is a teacher then it is OK, isnt that a job that keeps her away from her kids and husband too?? Or is it just considering work when it is mixed with other people. If i was a teacher, I'd give up teaching in schools to teach from home!!i

      I personally think that not all jobs require a woman to leave her house. Although some job such as teaching does need to go to a certain workplace. But I strongly believe that if the type of job is going to make a change and if it is going to be useful to many other people, then I'd be the first person to encourage her because that's what we need in our society a change to be better and improve things.

      The housewives are excellent too, but there is so much time wasted at the same time without the woman notices it. OK we'll say that the woman can take care of her kids, the house, etc.. but when the kids go to school?? OK you'll say that she can do stuff at home, yeah but remember there are 365 days a year!! Some will say, she will be taking care of her kids.. Who said that kids who had mothers as housewives were straight or successful?? Can you guarantee that?? No one can

      Do not think about yourselves and what you want, there are many people who need the help of others and they just can't find that someone. We dont study for the sake of work, that's a backward way of thinking, we study to make use of that knowledge, not by teaching it to our kids only because we will be a bit mean, but spread it to the whole world, maybe someone out there will make use of what you have even if it was a tiny piece of info. We study, work, not to live, but to change, to be a useful human being.. God created us on this earth to improve it, develop it and make it better, that's our duty and the reason behind working. To live, is one of the reasons certainly but NOT the only reason to work

      If you believe that you can change, improve something, do good to the people then go for it, doesnt matter whether you are a man or a woman, whether you are an adult or a teenager or an oldie..

      My opinion is based on my experiences as I lived with both circumestances. Both had positive and negative consequences. The smart person would be able to handle the right job at the right place for the right reason..

    • Well no wonder about this phrase and it especially goes with women who work as teachers..

      Unfortunately, there are many men who are so greedy and they think mostly about women who have jobs as a bank for them instead of a wife ..

      It is very important for men to choose men according to her personality and her behaviours before looking to her income situation..
      YOu may find some working woman but they are not enough smart to run a house.. Sometimes, you may find housekeepers who are smart and they run the house in ideal way..

      Well, that all what i could say about at moment and i believe that we should let men at first tell their opinions in this topic before us :)

      Those are the sort of people who really dont know what they want. Although they want and prefer a housewife, but they still marry a working lady, why? Because everyone does that.. Not every man as rich as alyamamah for example to be able to do the whole financing of the family on his own. Plus I really dont see where is the problem in working as long as everyone keeps distance and stay under limits..

      Even ummahat elmo2meneen worked, although I heard that they worked as teachers, but they also teached the men. It's not in being involved with men in the workplace, it's how clean is your mind and heart when working with the opposite gender. When you focus on work, then you should focus in work, which is something all Omanis lack, well almost all of them

      Not really,
      Alot of men prefer non-working women for marriage, because they hate the fact that thier wife is independent of them, and they mostly reject a woman because she is better than them financially and professionally... it makes them feel they are less appreciated and valued as the "Master of the House"... and feel that their self -respcet and dignity is hurt because they are not in the total control...
      (though there are some "Gold Digger" men who precisely look for a hard-working woman whom they know is much better than them so they can use her for her money, this type doesnt even know what self-respect and dignity is)i

      So, depending on the mentality of the Man, some prefer a working, educated, intellegent woman,... who cooperates with them financially and mentally... and some prefer the non-working because they lack the self-confidence and trust to stand up next to an independent self-guided woman

      i can say, the people who say that they want unwoking women .after some time they may think that Oman is too expensive and thay cant aford what they want for them self so how they can give the women money??while they dont have it!!!!!!! therefore, they look to the workin women to help them to provide their needs

      the important is they change their mind and married workin women :P

      Well I guess many of us dont really know what they want until after a long time.. so thats why we tend to change our mind later on :D
