You didn't mention what type of motherboard you've got if your sound card is onboard?!
Anyway… log on to the following page :
developer.intel.com/design/motherbd/gendrive.htm

once you select your mother board… it would open the drivers page…
find where it says "Windows XP* Drivers"
click on the little floppy icon to the left of where it says "Audio"
