If you get a chance to show yourself to the public by using one of these ways?

1- Stealing your partner's or friend's work.

2- Telling lies to your boss.

3- Cheating on your work.

4- Showing you power by shouting and giving orders just to show your honest in work.

Which one would you choose?

I find this pretty interesting.. If there are more choices, then I do prefer to have a look at them and see what I can choose. But if I was given only this list then I would honestly choose is telling lies to my boss. Telling lies here, doesn't mean the bad things. For example, if my boss asked me if I did something or not, then I will say yes I did it if I can make sure that he wouldn't find out. But I will go and tell him that I did lie to him because I didn't want to be embaressed for example..

I wouldn't steal anyone's work because I do love my own work even if it's crap. But my hand will never reach someone else's work because that person worked hard on it or at least did put some effort on it, so I can't take something ready with no effort or my finger print is not on it

I wouldn't cheat because, Im going to cheat myself only. Why do something that is going to kill the talents in me..

I will not shout at others because I do respect others very much and when it comes to rights, I would look to right as highest priority then feelings. Even if the person is my enemy, but if he/she has the right to do something then I will let them do so even if it is going to hurt my feelings. It's their right!! Can't take it from them

Asalamu 3alikum everyone

For # 1: no, because the benifit I would get out of that will be temporary.
The fact is: the better I produce the larger responsibility I will be held at work or an organization or else; I should remeber. Thus if I steal others work I tend to ruin my picture by time and so scandle myself very easily.

For # 2: lies last shortly, mistrust as a result of that last endlessly. I love my job, can't afford to lose it for a silly thing.

For # 3: cheating will take me no where but downwords

For # 4: yelling at others means I have no control over myself, niether respect for my own dignity. Others will have the right to disrespect and mistrust me.

in short my answer is NO

If my aim in life is to civilize further, then I should maintain my Ethics and Morals

well 1st its a nice topic but i will not choose anyone of them coz
if im a true muslim so i want do so
stealing never coz its haram in our religion
lies and cheating so i will never ever think abt then coz i m a person who hates them and tell everone not to do so , so how i will do so.
shouting so thoes who r weak do this coz if ur really strong u will have pataints.
by the way im not saying this coz i want to show the readers or u that im sooooo good but coz i never lie and stop my self if i come to situation like that so i thought why not to share it with u and give someone encharagment not to so anyone of them.

You are right sinuorina, but let us assume we HAD to pick one, and I guess that was the case

The more important thing now is
DO WE do one or more of them things unintentinally? HOW often? DO we pretend we do not while we do
I am sorry to say it, we all do it in some way or another

Thats almost exactly what I was going to say... the topic was so clear.. many of us would do all of these things, but it is just a situation and given a question to answer, just say it because I honestly would lie to my boss, especially my boss because the right relationship with anyone has to start the right way but according to the situation given, then I just answered, doesnt mean that I will do it in real life

So as Tenderness said, we all have principles to stick to but our answer and justification in unreal situation do also tell a lot about us, dont they?!i

hi dear thanks 4 ur replay but let me say someting i know many of us do these to live their life and i also know it is becoing so nessessery in this world but should v make it a habbit or not thats the point.
if i lie once its ok coz when its in my favor but making one of these or all of them as a habbit thst bad and im againts that. well anyone agree or disagree coz everone as his/her own life and ways of thinking .
