Assalam 3alaikum dear everyone..
I have recently been away for so long since I came back and there is alot to talk about from my side, especially with the things happening around me here that do not make any sense to me, or to be realistic, surprise me!!
When I left Oman for just couple of years, things were still not that modern and I was pleased and amazed at what we have reached, yet we are still considered a bit behind comparing with other developing countries.. but what not hasn't changed is the way people treating each other in terms of rights and specifically human rights!
Almost 5 years ago, I heard about the story of the Oman guy named Sa3eed and his passed away son Omar who died because of a fault done by the doctors.Just today when I got a chance to use the net for a bit longer, I came across the latest updates about the case. The man has been going back and forth for the past 8 years til he reached the association of human rights to comment about the case.
For now Im after couple of things, firstly, I really couldn't imagine the strong will of this father in trying to get his son's file and investigate the case. Secondly, is it that bad in the way in how some departments went too far play God with people's life? Thirdly, I know that we discussed enough about medical faults, but what Im trying to say is if we are muslims should be trying to have the moral of being merciful, how come we are not when non muslims are much more merciful among their nations more than us?! Forthly and lastly, as much as Im happy to see the positive changes Im also feeling terribly sorry for the negative changes and I have no comment about whats being going on lately in this country..
Few lines to think out loud!!
Cheers
