I Will Be As I Want
I may be simple
And I may be cute,
But I have a mind,
And my mouth doesn’t mute
I enjoy little things
As well as the big,
As big as a tree
Or as small as a twig.
Destined for success,
I have been told I am,
Destined for success,
But I don’t give a damn.
I couldn’t care less of what others want me to do,
I’ll do what I want, and I’ll want what I choose.
Singing or playing,
Reading or writing,
Painting a picture,
It doesn’t matter what,
I may choose to be,
I’ll put my mind to it.
And definitely succeed.
The moral to this story,
Before I leave,
Is to never give up,
And always dream.
