....First impressions

?!when meeting new people, do first impressions count
for intance, i was introduced to a girl who i did not like at all when i first saw her, and tried to avoid her as much as possible, but still was very friendly and respected her. now i like this girl .. and i have no idea how that happend
it's been a while now and we still talk, however i sometimes get so mad i wish i hadn't accepted her as a friend ( although we're quiet close friends), and i just keep on
!remembering my first impression of this person .. and i wonder how it changed

if u were in my place would u keep that "first impression"and avoid that person or ignore it
?!and get to know him/her better

I guess its normal to have a first impression about someone, from the way they look or dress or talk or whatever, but the thing is we have to be open into knowing that person for who he/she really is, because *most* the times our impression is wrong

In your case, i am surprised you're even asking us!!!! you would neglect the true person you knew and liked, just to behold to the superficial first impression????s

???based on what would you do that

if i was in your place, of course i would keep liking this person and actually try to get to know her better

First Impression is exactly as it says and nothing more .. its our FIRST impression!!!!i

It happens 2 me alot,
I'll misjudge sum1, n then turn 2 b a good person
Or de opposite sumtimes,,,
Bt i dont stick wid dat same 1st impression ofcourse,,,

As i do get 2 know dat person, i 'll form sum
new impressions dat will b saved in my head
And hence treat dat person accordingly.

FIRST Impression is the LAST impression

Although i would totally agree that its not a rule of thumb! the fact of the matter remains that this is the case for many people. I personaly think its
by far not fair to judge someone this quick

There is a common sayings "First impressions usually are entirely wrong", "Never judge a book by its cover"... etc

There are even some people that wouldn't normally accept anyone to enter their lives and might be harsh or rude towards new faces. But once you get in, you'll be amazed by what the kind of person he is.

I don't normally judge anyone from first site, but I still make a rough impression of the type of person just to know how to act when he's around. I had this experience of meeting the most wonderful character in my life although I had the wrong impression at first site.

And in your case oMaNi_AsLi, I believe that you need to take the good with the bad. No one's perfect you know! And if it wasn't for the bad times in this life, we wouldn't have felt the good times

4me people alwayes take wrong imprision about me at the first metting cause i am not easy going withe strangers or withe people i meet 4r the first time<
then when we become somehow close they will tell me that they thought i am بطرانه وشايفه نفسي~!@n ~!@n

although i am veryyyyyyyyyyy friendly|a
my advise 2 u broth is to keep ur relationship with her cause she looks very nice person
or maybe u r afride of something?????$$e ?????

those who judge on how u look , how u dress , others who

judge on ur personality and so on

i m in ur side, we cannot judge
on someone from the first impression
but
u know , at least we can get the a view look to his/her personality from the way
he act i guess in which we can judge on him/her

Yes, Sometimes you feel uncomfortable for some people but after talking to them and know them too much the first impression and idea you have taken will be changed.

In my opinion, we are suppose to clean our minds first and our hearts and not thinking bad of people because of their habitats or way they talks.

There are so many people we didnt like, became our best friends after knowing them well.

you said th at you never thought that you'd like that girl ..

why do you like her now ??

because you know her well ..

at first you didnt know anything about her ..

you just saw her ..

so ..

you should stick to what you think now ..

because it's the truth and you know the girl ..!

so the first impresson was wrong and now you know the right one ..!

looks are nothing to what a person really is !!

and as they say ..
