I have been using the FREECAM without any trouble as you described in
your message shown below only for IRDETO channles.

Lately I have updated my CAM to FREECAM 2-017 and found an
interesting website at irdeto.net/PMK-Deluxe/ which is
providing FREECAM codes for IRDETO, SECA and VIACCESS. The problem
here is that SECA has only 24 digits (example 0345 3262 3183 1740
2399 0237) and my FREECAM2 accepts 30 digits only.

How can I use my FREECAM2 to see SECA and VIACCESS using freecam
codes (without goldcard) as I am successfully doing with IRDETO????

Upgrade your Irdeto CAM to be used to view channels with NO CARDS.

Requirements:

1- A notebook copmputer with PCMCI is required to upgrade the CAM.
Windows95 and Windows98 (final revision) will work fine. Windows2000
and Windows98 (first edition) have difficulties accepting the upgrade

Upgrade procedure:

1- According to the Windows version you are using (Win95 or
Win98 ), copy the file "Irdeto95.inf" or "Irdeto98.inf" to the folder
\WINDOWSINF

2- Copy the files "CiPhysical.dll" AND "ird106.ini" to \WINDOWS

3- Make sure that the Irdeto CAM is inside the PCMCI and is
detected by the copmputer (a small icon is normally with a CAM
picture is shown in Systray).

3- Start the program "ird106.exe". The program window will
be "blue".

4- Click "START" and observe the progress bar moving. The upgrade
takes about a minute. At the end of the upgrade, the program window
will become "green".

Preparation of codes for the CAM:

Now insert the CAM into the receiver CI slot and program it with
any Plain Key as follows:

Suppose the Plain Key wanted is:
PK=8F2E65F483022B70 (Key0A) for Provider00

First arrange them to be:
Prov - KeyIndex - PlainKey
00---- 0A ------- 8F-2E-65-F4-83-02-2B-70

Now convert all the bytes from Hex to Decimal with any calculator.
The result will be:

0-10-143-46-101-244-131-2-43-112

The last step is to make all the numbers consist of 3 digits. The
result is:

000-010-143-046-101-244-131-002-043-112

This code is now ready to be loaded into the CAM.

Loading of codes into the CAM:

1- Form the receiver menu, select "Irdeto Free".
Some receivers will require access to "Commom Interface" then
select "Irdeto Free".

2- Select "Key board".

3- Select "Enter new plainkey".

4- Type the code prepered above using the remote control:
000-010-143-046-101-244-131-002-043-112
Only numbers are to be typed (ignore the dash).

5- At the end of typing, another window will appear. Select "YES,
save key".

6- Now the channels are opened and free to be watched.
