    • Regrets..........

      Once, a group of people were travelling on rocks at night. A voice came

      from the sky that whosoever picks up the rocks will regret and whosoever

      doesn't pick up the rocks will regret. Now, the people were confused. How

      can this be? Whether you pick up the rocks or not, you will regret!

      Anyway, some people picked up the rocks and some didn't.

      In the morning when they reached their homes, they saw that the

      rocks turned into diamonds. Now, those people who didn't pick up the rocks

      started regretting saying "If only we had picked up some rocks.

      " Those people who did pick some rocks also started regretting saying

      "Why didn't we pick up more rocks?" Both sides ended up regretting.



      Dear Muslims, this same incident will take place with us on the Day of

      Judgement. Those people who spent their time in useless things will start

      regretting by looking at those who achieved a great position in Paradise

      by spending their time in the way of Allah. Now, those who did achieve a

      position in Paradise will start regretting by looking at those who did       more than them and are higher in status.

      "Alas! If we had only done more to please Allah."

    • Thank you dear brother for this remarkable topic. It actually sets within the lines one of the most common things among humans, that is greed. The existance of this quality determines the kind of person and in our case the kind of muslim you are. Regardless the all the disadvantages that this quality bring about to whom ever poses it, this is the only good thing that could come from it. I think that we all should do more to please allah, in order for us to receive his mercy and forgiveness

      Some of us, even need to start from the very begining. KNOW that sins are a barrier between you and Allah. Keeping away from that which makes you far from Allah is obligatory. It is achieved by 1) knowledge, 2) regret and 3) determination. If one does not truly KNOW that sins are the cause of being far from Allah, he will have no regrets over committing sins. He will not feel the pain of his path far from his Lord. When that pain is not felt, he will not return nor have the determination to stay away from sin. Allah ordered us to make tauba saying:

      {... and repent to Allah all of you O believers in order that you may reach success.}

      In the end, Share Dua with me as Allah Never Regrets: " May Allah Almighty the only creator, and, Who controls each and every thing of this universe, Bless all muslims and guide us all to seek the achievement of good deeds
