Reading is one of the important way
to improve our language
I want from all of you
to read this story
and then give us the main idea of it.
After that I will ask you some questions.

The Rock
An old farmer had plowed around a large rock
in one of his fields for years.
He had broken several plowshares and a cultivator on it
and had grown rather morbid about the rock.

After breaking another plowshare one day,
and remembering all the trouble
the rock had caused him through the years,
he finally decided to do something about it.

When he put the crowbar under the rock,
he was surprised to discover that
it was only about six inches thick
and that he could break it up easily with a sledgehammer.
As he was carting the pieces away he had to smile,
remembering all the trouble that
the rock had caused him over the years
and how easy it would have been to ged rid of it sooner.

i guess the main idea of your story that we don't make things easy for us
we always say that we can't do solve this problem ,, we can't do it
the solution is there ,but we postpone looking for answers and put in our minds that
it is impossible to find a solution for such a thing.. even though the answers are obvious and clear

Another main idea is not exaggeration little things, because it might have very big role with different things

as a part of the reading exercise,
give us 5 new vocabulary you learned with its meaning
then put each one in a sentence from your mind

actually i didn't stop and search for words. Reading for getting the main idea is much better
but i read the text again and these words were the most difficult words for me

cultivator= farmer as Al Wafi dictionary translated ,but i guess it is wrong
if you read the sentence

morbid= bad harvest... sick one
i eradicated the morbid harvest and watered the good one

I think that the basic idea is not to surrender and give up 2ward things that we want to get it ,even if it is difficult & hard
and We can overcome the difficulties in any way just if We hv the Determination..

I guess so...

Diffentely i 'll do that because i want know what is meaning of that word but which i mean from my comment is this story for high livel of english languge and contines that diffecult word regards

These Words which I learen it...//
1.Cultivator...

2.Crowboar..
3.plowshare..

4.Morbid///His morbid fascnation with horror..

I'll think about the others & I'll cum back 2 answer it..
