a large number of expatriates in Oman (why )

    1. HI everybody I would like to know the causes & effects of why Oman has a large number of expatriates who come from all over the world to work here ?
    2. Well brother the cause of that from my point of view her in Oman we need them to develop our country and as u know Oman one of the Middle East who depends on oil but they don't have the modern equipment or even if they have the modern equip
    3. Frankly Idon't like this fact but the fact is still as fact and nobady can change it if all people are sleeping and do't take care The other fact that everything in Oman is behind the shedule Really it is atough fact to know that as I saw o

    • Well brother the cause of that from my point of view her in Oman we need them to develop our country and as u know Oman one of the Middle East who depends on oil but they don't have the modern equipment or even if they have the modern equipment the need professional hand to deal with it so the bring them to teach Omani citizen

      Also many Oman object to work in hard work for example, they don’t want to build or sell in shops they just want to sit in an office>>> they think that working such this jobs is shame for them

      And they have forget that the way to success is step by step

      About the effect I'll tell u a story that I have heard it from my friend

      The story is about her Indian teacher who has a British friend in Thamrit and one day he went to visit his friend and there was an Indian man complaining about his Omani mate who work with hem and that he drop all the work for him ….

      Do u know what the British man told him???
      He said if he really do that give him bolster and cover him by blanket and let him sleep in comfort coz if he wakes up nether me or u will stay here!!!!

      What do u think about this crafty and sly policy??!!

      To tell you the truth I have seen expats every where, germany has expats, the states has, tunisia has, and no wonder oman has.

      Expats do not come here, we want them here, yes we do!

      We need them, and this is natural. But look, their numbers are going down every single day. Omanization is doing well, no doubt.

      As for the story, yes, we do take advantage of the expats, this is true, but it is not us to blame............the omani can do the job, trudt me, and, and, and if there is a problem, IT IS the adminstration, the management!!!!!!. It is our personal relations that KILL and provide us with blankets and pillows.

      I'll make it short and stop here awaiting other dear brothers sisters to add and enlighten.

      Well to be honest with you I so impressed with your reply and I am agree with it is the management & the administration boo-boo who does not like to believe that Omani can handle the job
      Nonetheless the superior people have to notes that to take an immediate action rather than relax and live every thing goes as it’s.

      In my opinion it is importamt to have expact in Oman, so we can get from them the knowldge and the skill .
      As everybody know that Oman is in developing stage , therefore we need the expact. Frankly Idon't like this fact but the fact is still as fact and nobady can change it if all people are sleeping and do't take care
      The other fact that everything in Oman is behind the shedule
      Really it is atough fact to know that as I saw other countries and i amazed to know how the development in those countries reach and we are still in the bottom
