TROY

    • In ancient Greece, the passion of two of history's most legendary lovers, Paris, Prince of Troy (ORLANDO BLOOM) and Helen (DIANE KRUGER), Queen of Sparta, ignites a war that will devastate a civilization. When Paris steals Helen away from her husband, King Menelaus (BRENDAN GLEESON), it is an insult that cannot be suffered. Familial pride dictates that an affront to Menelaus is an affront to his brother Agamemnon (BRIAN COX), powerful King of the Myceneans, who soon unites all the massive tribes of Greece to steal Helen back from Troy in defense of his brother's honor.

      In theaters MAY 14th

    • Troy is not just a movie.. Troy is a great story and great mythology in English literature. Troy was destroyede becuase of a woman called Helen. She was called by Helen of Troy. Besides, she was the most beautiful woman at that time. She was the myth of the most beautiful woman.

So, Troy is not just a movie. So, it is good to see a movie like this one. I am sure that most of you remember the story of the huge horse wgich was made by wood and the soldiers were inside it in order to defeat their enemy by this trick. We also saw it in cartoon when we were kids. I am not sure that it is still shown until today..

Moreover, there are many great poems talking about Troy and especially about Helen of Troy..

I remember a poem which is called NO SECOND TROY

i will come later to talk about it

but till now i still haven't seen the movie $

But the love affair of Helen and Paris was so stupid, dumb and childish
I kinda didnt like the ending too, i dont wanna spoil it on who ever didnt watch it, but really it was unexpected and i was a little pissed off

Thank god Brad Pitt stayed alive the whole movie. REALLY worth watching

Finally i have the chance also to watch this movie last week :)

Well, i already know the end of the movie by my brother and my uncle who started to tell me about it because they were trying to tease me for i haven't seen it before them. SO, i guess that i was ready for the end.

But, there is something was not completed. The war between TRoy and the other country which i am not sure about its name (Aspire) had longed for 2 decades.
So, we have to be careful about that.

I agree with you that Helen and Paris made a big mistake and the greedy king of Aspire finds it a chance to enlarge his kingdom and helped his brother to bring back his wife HElen.

So this war was for two main reason, the first because of HElen and the second because of the King's greedness..

I also didn't like the love between Brad Bitte and his lover because it was not sensible. Although he killed her cousin she still loved him!!! Do you think it is reasonable and sensible?!!! $$g
