Communication Between Teachers & Students

Communication is the essential in learning
if the teachers and the student cannot communicate well with each other
then teacher's objectives will never be achieved

Let's discuss together what are the barriers
between the teachers and the students
that makes poor communication between them
and
How we can solve these problems
in a way that we can improve the communication skills

its such an important problem and really exist .
i have some thoughts makes me believe that its the cause of these problems
one of them is the difference in age between the teachers and the student >>makes the students afraid or facing a troubles dealing with higher level of mind.
or to feel that they are so young ..like the situation in their house with their parents..not as same as their brothers.
the teacher can change that idea by his or her way of dealing or transacting with them .
it can make them either feeling comfort or tauten do deal with the teachers..
this is one of the causes and the solve of it ..my own idea according to some situations i had before

So your saying that the age is the problem
it can be..
But if you are in higher school or college
you will find teachers their age similar to your age or from same generation
in this way you can simply feel comfortable
as you can feel he is your older brother or friend

If we are talking about English subject, the problem might be not being able
to exprese yourself when you are weak at Eng. not knowing how
to form a sentence or picking the right vocabulary. The solution is quite
simple, the teacher might encourage the students to open up and try not to
comment on every word, because that will prevent the student raising his hand.
Also,the teacher can teach 5 to 10 words everyday, and ask the
students to memorize them next time.

There are many problems in teaching Foreign Language
which build a wall between the teacher and the students

but how can what you said that fosters the communication between them

ya i agree with that..but that does not work with all of the students.
each student has his own idea about how great and high level is the teacher.
so it might be confurtable for some..but the other it doesnt.
most of the problems are related to the difference in student's personalites and way of thinking.
