      This happened in Paris. A few weeks ago, in a movie theatre, a person sat on something poking on one of the seats. When she got up to see what it was, she found a needle sticking out of the seat with a note attached saying: "You have just been infected by HIV"

      The Disease Control Centre (in Paris) reports many similar events in many other cities recently. All tested needles are HIV Positive. The Centre also reports that needles have been found in the cash dispensers at public Banking Machines.

      We ask everyone to use extreme caution when faced with this kind of situation. All public chairs/seats should be inspected with vigilance and caution before use. A careful visual inspection should be enough. In addition, they ask that each of you pass this message along to all members of your family and your friends of the potential danger.

      Recently, one doctor has narrated somewhat a similar instance happened at the Priya Cinema in Delhi to one of his patients. A Young Girl engaged and about to be married in a couple of months was pricked while the movie was going on. The tag with the needle had the message "Welcome to the World of HIV+ family". Though the doctors told her family that it
      takes about 6 months before the virus grow strong enough to start damaging your system and a healthy victim could survive about 5-6 years.

      The girl died in 4 months, perhaps more because of the "Shock thought".
      We all have to be careful at public places, rest God help! This is very important.

      Just think about saving THE LIFE of someone you don't know by forwarding this message. Please, take a few seconds of your time to pass along.

      The information about the Paris incident has been sent by the Ville d'Issy Les Moulineaux Municipal Police and to all departments of Ile de France who have transmitted this news to all its' cities.

    • we should do the test yearly to find out if we get this bloody hill disease,we can get it easily by any thing .dont forgot that the infected person would like to transmite it to all. however , i heard one women who had this disease saied she is going to the salon . u know what salon??? kwafair.

      Do you think any country would be able to afford screening for HIV for its people annually? $$g

      they do it for whoever suspects catching it or is suspected to have had it

      or for certain purposes... e.g pre marriage screening tests, post blood transfussions, ..... etc

      I believe you have have opened a new dimension to our sister topic and glad you put down your "bewares" talking about aids and HIV

      I do not really know what to say, and may be I was pretty quick to respond and state that I had reservations then. I read and read about HIV and could not come to a conclusion to support my reservations, and would welcome any word on this topic

      My reservations focus on the life of the virus outside a human body, how long and so on
      Bint Alkhaleej mentioned a needle, and I wonder if the virus survives long on a tip of a needle or she could have meant a srynge

      In this case i wonder how the srynge would be placed there and inject whoever and and and

      I guess once we are clean, and you know what I mean by clean we would be safe inshallah. Blood trnsfusions is a nother story

      what i always say to myself and family is not to trust any ready-made stuff like hotsauce or tomato souce" Ketchup" . this might be known to all but who is ready to prepare these kind of stuff themselves.

    • I came across this topic before .. but i was hesitant to response

      But just to add a little comment, the AIDS virus is not easily transmitted as many people think. It had to come in direct contact with blood-stream for the person to be infected.

      I heard about the issue that Bint Ellkhaleej mentioned Many years ago in California.. in movie theatres precisley. But just being pocked with a needle on a random part of the body Does Not transmit the virus.
      As well as having infected blood in Ketchup/food, Unless there is a cut or a wound in the mouth or the stomach .. even then there is only a chance of getting infected.



    • Absolutely right, thats why I encourage people to research and try to make sure that what they heard was true and honestly sometimes it is good that we read some medical articles about such disease because we need to educate ourselves to prevent it and I think we all need to educate ourselves in all areas, just a little bit though
