The topic’s in the following discussion all revolve around one area which is very controversial and there are a few aspects where it is either black or white but most areas are grey areas where it is left for you to decide and give you’re opinion and view with solid reasons and answers on why you believe so. The area I would like to discuss is Law and Ethics in healthcare.
Some terms you might like to use or will come across are:
1) Liability
2) Morals and Beliefs
3) Reliability
4) Professional Code of Ethics
5) Fraud
6) Advocate
7) Abuse
You can find the definition for all these terms by accessing: dictionary.com and there you can simply put the term in the search box and search and it will give you the definition for each word.
Law and Ethics in healthcare is a vast subject. So in this case I would like to focus on forgery and making of fake certificates, and using them to become a health care professional whether they are doctors nurses or any other person providing health care services and actually dealing with patients. My question is, if a person is caught doing so what should happen and who should be involved? What penalties would they have to pay and could they ever be given a second chance? What are you’re views and opinions? Another point off course there are laws and those are set but in the area of ethics what is effected on the side of the person produces fake certificates and claiming to have such qualifications?
