i think test are very useful even though exames need work from teacher aswell as students
but we have to consider the benefit from it

???But why would tests and exams be a restriction
They are the major way to "test" the learners/students on thier knowledge .... and in a matter a fact... and sometimes its the only way to actually get them to take learning seriously !!!i
I am not sure what you're getting at.. maybe you could elaborate on this a little more ??s

but do u think that if teachers are doing more exams and students always revising 4 it, will not be conivused and hate schools?

I mean by that doing more tests to student is harmful and lead them to hate going to schools.
Also, teachers can do another work insted of corecting exam paper..

I saw this post at this point in time, where i've just finished my exams. i just wanted to drop by and post a few words. I personally do agree with 'bright day' on the fact that there is quite a substantial emphasis on the importance of exams and their outcome. Although, i don't think that exams are a proper method of testing ones abilities in a certain field or matter, the fact of the matter remains that there is no other adequate method that could serve as an alternative! I hate exams for various reasons that include stress, lack of sleep, weariness and ultimately exhaustion. These and many other factors could easily play a vital role in ones performance in exams and as such rate of success. Let aside the fear some students develop towards exams and failure
