      Many of you watched the film Day after tomorrow... but did you think of it in a scientific way? what was in the film is a true fact that might happen to the world, although the film was a bit exagurating... The global warming is a current and a very serious issue today. We are living in this cycle, and the concequences are very serious too... Antarctica continent is starting to melt rapidly recently and this would cause increase in sea-level that might cover many parts of the other continents.. The cause of this warming is not really known but it is attributed to the increase in CO2 gas that we human beings are producing.. Its really a task of every person to reduce this gas, and it is very simple. For example, make sure your care exhust filters are working properly, and reduce of using the AC's..As people warking in farms, reduce burning the trees... There are many other things that you as a person can act to minimise the warming

      It is very serious, and think of your children and the future.. The Antarctica is really melting so severely that if it melts compeletly, the sea-level would rise so high and cover the world.. It is estimated now that the sea-level will rise to 1m by the 2080, which means covering vast continental areas.... Act now and take it so serious.

      Sorry I have never watched the film. At first I thought you were to discuss the film to find out you started to talk about something related to the movie that is really serious
      BUT
      Who cares dear friend, we are down to earth already and I do not mind seeing us down to sea
      I believe those clinching to life and this material world are those to worry most. Those who are destroying this world should be worried most

      We are out of this world and caused nothing and had no intentions to do anything to harm his world
      let it be my friend and do not worry

      Our children will be fed by this gas so others will live in peace
      Let it be
      Do noit worry


      I am not being pessimistic
      but I promise you to try not to produce CO2 and keep it to minimum

    • Thanks all for your comments.... but i really wished and was waiting for some usefull comments so we extend the discussion rather than just thanking each other......

      I would really suggest if we can have a scientific forum discussing many scientific current issues and adding to our knowledge some more valuable information... Am sure u all agree that English rooms in this forum are not as active as the Arabic part of it....

      So I really suggest to add a room and call it "ENCYCLOPEDIA".....what do u think Tenderness, صادق الاحساس, اميرة الحزن....

      and of course all the others are very welcome, so can the SUPERVISORS add some of their kind comments on this suggestion and start creating a room with such a name please....

      I feel bad describing or judging this ROOM from your first visit giving the impression it contains no useful info, once again go through and see for yourself

    • Don't get me wrong dude, I know you thanked me and commented on the topic, but I'am sure it would have been extended if for examples some questions regarding the topic been asked by you to me or even adding some more information to the topic to expand it a little bit... this sort of thing
