We found out the hard wayi
MBC did announce that "road to Kabul" wont be showing anymore
With all the lecture they gave about production issues, i think we all know that its totaly political reasons
when we finally thought that intelectuall oppression is loosening up, it just seems to be getting worst
~!@q Who's responsible do u think~!@q
Some say that the US, UK and Israel behind it
Others say its al mugahidin who ask them to stop showing it
I just feel rage about it who ever is the one I think that they are just a poltroon chickens
#h #h -
It does not matter who is behind it, we have got to believe it is due to some technical reasons as announced some time ago
I am not sad they did it, and not feeling sorry at all, may be whoever did it did not know that we only missed the drama flow in watching some stage of the history in moving pictures and not in newspapers
Whoever did it should learn to be responsible, and learn when and how to take decisions
We lost the show and we lost the confidence to know that we are only for light entertainment that is intended for fun and only fun
One again if I am sad, it is because and like Mrs. said why promoting something you do not have, as MBC did, no one asked to produce and show such a series
BUT
If there was something in the series that embarrasses, abuses, mislead, lies, accusations, and you name it, just make it clear and be responsible and do not ever go a step without knowing where you put your foot and let us, the public, start asking why and accuse others
Take it easy Anesah, and watch Helm Al-Seneen on Oman TV, and see some stage of the Omani history -
na3am??!! I didnt get you
and by the way, I have seen one episod of a series called Abu Zain Al Hilali.. can anyone record it for me please :)?? Because Im really interested in watching it and unfortunately I cant at this moment, by the end of this week I will have missed at least 15 episods

The classic accusation
Why would the US, UK or Israel threaten to stop the series!!!!!???i
As if those Giant governments have nothing better to do ..
We have reached a point that if a water tap breaks down or we run out of orange juice in the fridge ... its because of US, UK or Israel
the US have produced 100s of documentaries and books about this issue why would it care
I heard too that its a group of the so-called mujahideen found it offensive and threatened (as usual) to do something "real bad" if the series were not terminated -

NOOOOOOO, I doubt it, as this threat has been on before or with the start of Ramadan, so I wonder why not before supposing they have seen it in advance or not just wait and see then start threatning
It is all bull ****, it is

Do you mean Zain or Zaid, be specific as we have so many in Ramadan, Zaid, Zain, Zaim, Zait, Zair
Oh yes that is Abu dhabi channel, it is good, not bad I mean
No recording nothing eL3aJoOoZ_NaWaR, after Ramadan you will be sick seeing Abu Zaid on every day on a different channel and hate him and hate the day you heard about him

LoL.. you reckon?!!! Is it going to be that boring?? I think it is an interesting story because the issue of being so stubborn with the origins of a tribe still exist until today.. imagine, a problem that always existed among arabs more than a thousand years.. while when the US realized how racist they are, they have created the socalled human rights and not to be racist.. there are still people exist who are racists but come on.. it is so obvious among arabs
Where is the equality of human being mentioned in the Holy Qura'an, and where is Bilal bin Rba7 the role model for us to learn from about the story on equality.. thats what I thought about when I saw just one episod of Abu ZAID ALHILAL .. I dont think I get board of series that has a historical turn in it
Cheers

Sure, one looks back and feel sorry, bad and sad
When I meant bored I meant of the so many repetitions that could kill all the excitment -

They did threaten before the airing of the first episode
MBC was not supposed to air those 8 episodes snice she hae been told that the rest will not be given. , but she did anyways
if you think of it, no one else would want to hide the painful facts of the series , except the pro-taliban extremists. They dont want the corrupt true identities of the Taliban and the Arab Mujahideen in Afghnistan to be exposed to the millions of ppl who will watch the series.
But honestly, MBC is so smart. She have been told that those 8 episodes are all she would get. She could have not air any of them at the first place and treat the matter as a the end of the story. But no one would know that way.. what the series were really about... and no one would care less.
But now, not a single person is not furious and curious about this issue.. people tried to actually invetigate what is the true reason behind the termination of the series

guys take it easy.. wallah this is just a series. it would be more interesting and exciting if we meet the people there and understand their history and culturedo not depend on movies because naturally not everything in it is true

The issue is totally political and has nothing to do with history or culture
Now i am watching Gergai3an with passion... 9ara7a it cracks me up so badly that i forget whats hapenning around me
hmmmm... maybe thats the whole point
hehehe
ramadan kareem
By the way.. NaWar.. tell us more about Ramadan in Australia... and the muslim community there -

One thing we all should know, most of Ramadan dramas usually not ready, and to have 8 episodes of this series was marvellous. I read once that the series
رأفت الهجان
all the stations were to receive the due episode on the same day of transmission
So I guess MBC were not that stupid to know that only 8 episodes are there and insists on broadcasting the the stuff
I only can say MBC were smart that the mujahedeen allowed only 8 eposides, mujahedeen my a**. Do you think Mrs. all turned out to be drugs war, who knows

Funny story
Two days ago I was in the kitchen cutting some onion. however, i was't crying, then my youngest sister sister came to the kitchen and she is about 3 years and 6 months. She told me with her little innocent voice: Scream , i will stay here with you in the kitchen!! I was alomost close to cry because i get impressed and I replied : Shukran 7abibti. However, she screamed and said NOOOOOOOOOO, don't say Shkran 7abibti!! I asked her, what do u want me to say? She said: say that u will give me a candy or take me in the car
See, even kids are looking after their own benefits. I thought that she was really supporting me when she said that she will stay with me.
But, I miss her so much when i do see her for more than 10 minutes. She is so cute, lovely and noisy and of course friendly, just like her sister -
Scream, who does not like children? ha, you tell me
May ALLAH save and protect your sister
Yes screan, children also have their own interests, but the big difference is that they are doing it with full innocence, because they are innocent, and by asking us for a favour they are doing so for our favour too, we love them, we truly do
One more thing I was pleased to know and hear, to know you go into the kitchen and cut onions, not so many doing this these days
A big salute to you -
Hmmm very interesting.. i never thought of it that way.. but i still think that it gives me a historical side of story although I heard many say that it is not the real history and that it's all made up.. I guess i will have to stick with novel and look for books about this abu zaid
Ramadan in Australia is really better than Oman in a sense that we are all here cooperating and caring about each other.. in Oman it's all about food.. we have e3tekaf nights, we have womens gatherings and thikr gatherings.. in Oman, i never had such thing
The community involves in so much worship than food really.. it's very different. There are so many things such as having speeches and activities organised by islamic organisations to engage the community in this month.. they are aim is to BE UNITED and do everything together.. Since I came to Australia, I learned the real meaning of unity, they care so much about unity, the brothers and sisters are so much into unity leaving behind all those sensitivities of differences in genders because they are all respecting each other and treating each other as a one whole family.. i hardly experienced that in Oman to be very honest with you.. i mean with my family members yes, not exceeding to include my relatives or the community.. maybe friends sometimes yeah
The last 10 days of Ramadan, the brothers here pray together qeyam ellail.. it is so beautiful.. and i couldnt join them because there arent girls close to uni who would do that.. but I would be around the area at that time because i normally stay at night to work on my uni stuff
I love it and I know I will miss and the only thing that will keep me connected to this life is to practice it when i go back home..

Scream, now you reminded me of my little brother 2 years old. I miss him so much too and yeah all children are cute.. I miss his noise, as his mother used to tell me that Im his teacher in being naughty, i come back to Oman, teach him and my younger sister lessons and leave. my other sister 6 years old.. this year she started going to school and i felt so sad that i didnt see her on her first day.. we were preparing for this day when i was there by giving her a bag and so on just to make her like the school before actually going there.. I heard from my younger brother that she cried a lot. She is very close to mom and she rarely goes out with anyone, either dad, mom or the brothers and sisters.. but most of the time, she would only go out with her mother.. and you know, when i talk to her on the phone, her mom wouldnt let her talk for too long because she will start crying, she just says hello, i miss you nawar and when you are coming back.. and God that hurt alot!!i
Anyway.. talking about children is endless.. today i was watching the news after skipping it for the last 3 weeks due to the work pressure i had at uni.. they were talking about discivering new species of human beings.. The Hobbits.. have you heard that in Lord of The Rings?? yeah they are 1m tall and they are too small.. they shrunk because they were isolated from other people on an island and the man who discovered that, found the pieces of bones of these human beings in a cave..
he estimated that they lived 13 000 years ago and they lived untiil 12000 years only.. so it is only recent that they have extinct.. currently they are searching for reasons of their extinction
I also heard on the news about Yaser 3arafat being seriously ill.. hmmm what else.. thats all for now and will catch you later guys..
Cheers

nice topic
:)
I'll tell you about our ramadan
actually every year we have some simple traditions
:P
after the iftar we all set together and descuss different subjects
until al tarawi7 athan
after the prayer we all visit our relatives , every day in somebodys home
that what I have for now
kindness regards
:) -
eL3aJoOoZ_NaWaR, mmmm you got me confused, I know it is not odd, but it sounds odd
First of all may ALLAH bless your little brother and sister, and all kids
You say mt brother, my sister, then you start saying his mother, her mother
I guess you got me
Talking about news, I am afraid it is all the same old story, and if I am to feel sorry for Yaser Arafat it is not because he is ill or dying, we are all to die sooner or later, but I feel sorry that a president and a very important man like him get imprisoned with no one is and was able to do something about it
I heard his health was detoriated as he insists to fast and this is somethig really good to hear
the real meaning of unity
Yes, and I know what you mean, but I am afraid you are not to feel it unless you are abroad and may be this is the only positive thing being living abroad
One back home all is gone even with the people you had this UNITY with -

Obviously, till now i never managed to set my priorities rightthis is why am always lagging behind
Anyway, i just wanted to drop by and say hi and Ramadan Kareem to you all
The holy month of Ramadan unites all Muslims in fasting, feasting, worship and prayer. It is a time for contemplation, spirituality and brotherhood. On this holy occasion i reach out to you with warm wishes and inspiring thoughts. May allah accept our fasting and good deeds
One more thing, i really liked this thread that my dear brother Tenderness started here for ramadan. Its great with all of your contributions and presence. Keep it up

Their mother is my mother toodoes it matter anyway?? We are one family Tenderness and we are way above that.. by the way, i will talk to you about that later on in a new thread insha'a Allah
to exprience unity was not with the arabs of omanis in specific. It was with the other muslims from around the world. It gave me the feeling that no matter where you are from and what you do, we are still brothers and sisters with the bond of Islam. What I hated in Oman that every single girl and boy must have this idea the other gender is bad or something like that.. not many clean minded people that you can find lately

I will try and draw the tree of the family.. I find is so fascinating and Allah ygaderni and i will have the support and time to complete this mission

Hmmm all I know about you is seeing your nick name under the section of moderators and rarely see you posting anything. I believe there is time for everything and it's all about time management The Master, sit for 5 minutes, set your priorities and you are doneTrust me it doesnt take much
I wish too see more of the old members as well as the new ones because you really find it so exciting to get all the people together.. this is the virtual village that we have we need to know the neighbours and the people living in this big village
Cheers to all and glad to see you dropping by The Master, and Im sure everyone appreciates that

Thank you dear brother The Master
Ramadan Kareem
This is Ramadan, as I said to Maria, bringing us together, no matter for how long
And I am not surprised at all to see you around, and how busy you are, but like eL3aJoOoZ_NaWaR said, we are all busy, may be at different levels, still there is no harm in sparing few minutes to drop a line like you have just done
After all, to hear you are well and doing ok is something I always hope and pray for
Welcome back dear and Ramadan kareem
-
One good thing is when others read you right, and this is what some do here like eL3aJoOoZ_NaWaR did here, and we will be waiting to hear from her soon
. If we do not get united at home, then how one will explain this UNITY we have once abroad
Why for example you have a dear friend, or more than a friend abroad, and let us say from the same country as you are and just theis relationship dies out once back home
like I said eL3aJoOoZ_NaWaR, read me or read what I have ahead of time, I like the way how moslems from eastern Asia see Islam
I met Indonesians, malaysian both girls and boys and was very surprised to tell you the truth
I guess they were brought up in a different way from us
I said it else where, talk to the other gender like it is yours, do not create differences. Our pretty girls should realize one a boy talks them it does not mean it is love and s***, the same applies for boys
Sorry Iam not organized in my writing as did it just like that, and remember it is a talk, it is Ramadaniat where there is no rules and limits to follow
